This water-loving species inhabits permanently wet areas of peat and sphagnum, sometimes growing partly submerged where a bog gives way to shallow water. Across this extensive range, populations have developed quite different seasonal habits. Tropical forms can grow throughout the year, while temperate plants spend winter reduced to a resting bud called a hibernaculum. Our plants are a hardy temperate form whose little rosettes turn brilliant red in full sun before going dormant for winter. These make a colorful addition to outdoor bog gardens, growing well alongside Sarracenia and other temperate sundews in consistently wet conditions.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Rare Plant Catalog","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":52676288151832,"sku":null,"price":12.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0912\/1175\/9896\/files\/droseraintermedia.png?v=1789326810","url":"https:\/\/rareplantcatalog.com\/products\/drosera-intermedia","provider":"Rare Plant Catalog","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
