New leaves emerge with tightly coiled tips that gradually unroll as they extend, giving a growing clump a mixture of upright filaments and little spirals. This clone comes from Brooks County, Georgia, and produces such heavy dew that we can distinguish it from our other D. tracyi at a glance. Despite its delicate appearance, it has been surprisingly undemanding for us, growing comfortably alongside Sarracenia and other sun-loving carnivores.
