Unfortunately, the land was turned into a tree farm for paper production and the Sarracenia were eradicated. Thankfully, some seed was taken prior to the destruction and grown in cultivation. These plants are descendants from those original seed and are famous for their beautiful super white tops and attractive green venation. Sarracenia grow in open, wet savannas across the Atlantic coast and into the American south, where frequent fire keeps the habitat clear and the soil nutrient-poor. The plants make up for those harsh conditions with their elaborate pitcher traps, which attract and digest insects for much of their nutrition. We recommend giving these plants as much sun as they can get, but always in a tray of pure water (distilled, reverse osmosis, or rain). The plants on offer were produced via rhizome divisions.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Rare Plant Catalog","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":52136550301976,"sku":null,"price":100.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0912\/1175\/9896\/files\/HCWFCLOSE.png?v=1780531465","url":"https:\/\/rareplantcatalog.com\/products\/sarracenia-leucophylla-hurricane-creek-white-clone-f","provider":"Rare Plant Catalog","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
