Free U.S. shipping on all orders over $75

Orders primarily ship from our production greenhouses in Sonoma County, Northern California, though some may be fulfilled from our Los Angeles retail store.

If your order includes plants stocked at both locations, two shipping charges may apply. Contact us before ordering and we’ll do our best to consolidate your shipment. Free shipping promotions still apply on split location orders over $75 for a limited time.

shipping schedule

Orders ship from California early in the week to reduce time in transit. If a holiday or bad weather is expected to cause delays, we may hold shipments until conditions improve. A tracking link will be sent once your order ships.

how we ship

Most plants ship bare-root and everything is packed carefully by hand. Some may ship in pot if that’s safer, always in clean, inert media. Heat packs are available for purchase and insulation may be used in colder months, though effectiveness can diminish below about 15–20°F. Each order includes a California Nursery Stock Certificate for Intrastate and Interstate Shipments.

ordering and fulfillment

Payment is required in full before shipment and is processed securely by Shopify and its providers. Heat packs and other add-ons are available only with live plant purchases, and orders containing add-ons alone will be canceled and refunded.

if a plant arrives damaged

If your plant arrives damaged, please contact us within 3 days of delivery with photos and your order number. We’ll review your claim and do our best to make it right, whether through a replacement, store credit, or partial refund. Claims made after 3 days are unlikely to be approved, though we always take into account factors like shipping delays, extreme weather, or other circumstances outside your control.

returns and exchanges

Because plants are living material, returns and exchanges aren’t accepted except for items damaged on arrival. Once delivered in good condition, plant survival is the customer’s responsibility, though we’ll review concerns in good faith and are always glad to help with care advice.

order accuracy and updates

Prices, photos, descriptions, and availability may be updated from time to time, but confirmed orders are always honored at the price and details listed when you made the purchase. In the unlikely event something’s unavailable, we’ll reach out to cancel the order or offer a similar replacement. We do our best to keep all information current and accurate, though small updates or corrections may occur as plants grow and stock changes.
