These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of the Rare Plant Catalog website and any orders placed through it. By shopping here, you agree to the following.

General

  • Rare Plant Catalog is operated by Rare Plantsmen LLC in California, United States.
  • We reserve the right to limit quantities, refuse service, or cancel orders at our discretion.
  • While pricing, descriptions, and availability may be updated from time to time, all confirmed orders are honored as listed at the time of purchase. If an item can’t be fulfilled, we’ll either cancel the order or offer a comparable replacement. In some cases, we may suggest a substitute of lesser value with a partial refund for the difference.

Products

  • Plants are living material, so each one is unique. Natural variation in size and appearance is expected.
  • Some listings may be marked “WYSIWYG” (what you see is what you get), meaning you will receive the exact plant pictured. If not marked, you will receive a plant of similar type and quality.
  • Care information is provided as a guide only. Results depend on customer conditions and care.

Orders & Payment

  • All orders must be placed through our online checkout.
  • Payment is required in full before shipment and is processed securely by Shopify and its providers.
  • Orders may be cancelled or refunded if stock is unavailable, there is an error, or shipment is restricted.

Shipping & Delivery

  • Orders ship on Mondays to reduce delays in transit.
  • Shipments may be fulfilled from our California greenhouse facilities in Northern or Southern California.
  • If your order includes plants only available at separate locations, two shipping charges may apply. Contact us before ordering and we will do our best to accommodate.
  • Tracking information will be provided once an order is shipped.

Damaged or Defective Items

  • If a plant arrives damaged, you must contact us within 3 days of delivery with photos and your order number.
  • Approved claims will result in a replacement or store credit.
  • Claims after 3 days cannot be accepted.

Returns & Exchanges

  • Returns and exchanges are not accepted except for items damaged on arrival.
  • Once delivered in good condition, plant survival is the responsibility of the customer.

Intellectual Property

  • All content on this site, including text, images, and design, is the property of Rare Plantsmen LLC or its licensors and may not be used without permission.

Limitation of Liability

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rare Plantsmen LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or products.
  • Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the purchase price paid for the product at issue.

Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California and the United States.
  • Any disputes will be handled in California courts, subject to applicable consumer protection laws.
